About

Gear up, Brisbane! The inaugural Caxton Street Comedy Festival (CSCF) is hitting Caxton Street this October thanks to Good Chat Comedy, and it’s going to be an absolute cracker.

CSCF is an all-day celebration of the Sunshine State’s flourishing comedy scene, held in the heart of one of Brisbane’s most iconic precincts. Featuring some of Australian comedy’s biggest names, including Luke Heggie, Nick Cody, Chris Ryan, Geraldine Hickey, Lloyd Langford and Michael Hing, alongside a hand-picked selection of local favourites, CSCF brings together multiple venues and members of the Caxton Street community to celebrate good times, cold beers, and a whole lot of laughs.

Steeped in Brisbane’s rich history, Caxton Street has long been a hub of culture and entertainment, and though most commonly thought of as the go-to spot for sports fans, Caxton St. Comedy Fest aims to shake things up a bit and show off the street’s artsy side. Whether you’re a longtime local or a first-time visitor, CSCF is about celebrating our shared love of comedy and community in the vibrant, historic heart of Brisbane.

In addition to over twenty standup acts, punters can also enjoy interactive comedy shows and street side entertainment, all the while knocking back a few tins of “The Tight Five”, an easy drinking lager brewed especially for the occasion by our major venue partner Caxton St. Brewing Co. So, gather up your crew and get on down for this one day comedy takeover on the steps of mighty Lang Park.
